Troubleshooting

This section provides guidance for identifying and resolving common issues that may occur during operation of the BreathTrailer.

If a problem cannot be resolved using the steps below, contact an authorised service provider.


No 12V Power

Possible Causes

  • Main 12V power switch is OFF
  • Battery is discharged
  • Loose or disconnected battery connection

Actions

  • Turn the main 12V power switch ON
  • Check battery charge level
  • Inspect battery connections and terminals

No 240V Power

Possible Causes

  • Power selector switch in incorrect position
  • Inverter is OFF
  • Camp site power not connected
  • Faulty power lead

Actions

  • Confirm selector switch position (Battery or City Power)
  • Turn inverter ON if using Battery mode
  • Check camp site power connection
  • Inspect the 15A power lead for damage

Inverter Shuts Down

Possible Causes

  • Inverter overload
  • Battery voltage too low
  • High-power appliance connected

Actions

  • Turn off connected appliances
  • Remove high-power appliances
  • Recharge battery using solar or camp site power

Water Pump Not Operating

Possible Causes

  • Water pump switch is OFF
  • Fresh water tank is empty
  • Electrical connection issue

Actions

  • Turn water pump ON
  • Check fresh water tank level
  • Inspect pump wiring and fuse

No Hot Water

Possible Causes

  • Water pump is OFF
  • Gas cylinder is empty or disconnected
  • Hot water system is OFF

Actions

  • Turn water pump ON
  • Check LPG gas supply and connections
  • Turn hot water system ON

Fridge Not Cooling

Possible Causes

  • Main 12V power switch is OFF
  • Battery charge is low
  • Fridge settings incorrect

Actions

  • Turn main 12V power switch ON
  • Recharge battery
  • Check fridge temperature settings

Solar Charging Not Working

Possible Causes

  • Insufficient sunlight
  • Solar panel or blanket in shade
  • Dirty solar panel
  • Loose connection

Actions

  • Move trailer or solar blanket into direct sunlight
  • Clean solar panel surface
  • Check solar connections

Awning or Shower Tent Issues

Possible Causes

  • Incorrect setup
  • Obstructions or wind conditions
  • Fabric packed away wet

Actions

  • Recheck setup instructions
  • Pack away during strong winds
  • Dry fabric thoroughly before storage

When to Seek Assistance

Contact a qualified technician if: - Electrical or gas faults persist - Damage to critical components is detected - Safety systems are compromised
