15A Power Lead (Camp Site Power)

This section explains the use of the 15A power lead supplied with the BreathTrailer and how it enables connection to camp site (City Power) electricity.

Correct use of the 15A power lead allows safe battery charging and direct 240V power inside the trailer.


Overview

A 15A extension power lead is supplied with the BreathTrailer.

This power lead allows: - Charging the trailer battery when connected to camp site power - Supplying 240V power directly to the trailer outlets in City Power mode


When to Use the 15A Power Lead

Use the 15A power lead when: - Staying at powered camp sites - Charging the battery from mains electricity - Operating 240V appliances using City Power


How to Connect Camp Site Power

Follow these steps to connect camp site electricity:

  1. Ensure all high-load appliances are turned OFF.
  2. Connect the 15A power lead to the camp site outlet.
  3. Plug the other end of the lead into the trailer box power inlet.
  4. Set the power selector switch to City Power.
  5. Confirm 240V power is available at the trailer outlets.

✔️ Battery charging will begin automatically via the installed battery charger.


Safety Guidelines

  • Always use the supplied 15A-rated power lead.
  • Do not use damaged or modified power leads.
  • Keep power leads away from water, heat, and sharp edges.
  • Disconnect camp site power before towing the trailer.
  • Do not overload camp site outlets.

Storage & Care

  • Coil the power lead neatly after use.
  • Store in a dry, clean location.
  • Inspect the lead regularly for damage or wear.
