Fridge Operation
This section explains how to operate the 12V fridge installed in the BreathTrailer.
The fridge is designed for efficient off-grid operation and is powered directly from the trailer’s 12V battery system.
Fridge Overview
The BreathTrailer is equipped with a 12V refrigerator, with capacity depending on the trailer model:
- 30L
- 60L
The fridge operates automatically once power is supplied and does not require connection to camp site electricity.
Power Supply
- The fridge operates exclusively on 12V power
- Power is supplied directly from the trailer battery
- The fridge remains operational even when the trailer is not connected to camp site power
How to Use the Fridge
To operate the fridge:
- Turn ON the main 12V power switch inside the trailer box.
- The fridge will start operating automatically.
- Adjust temperature settings on the fridge control panel if required.

Power Consumption
- Continuous fridge operation will draw power from the battery.
- Battery charge level affects how long the fridge can run without recharging.
To maintain battery charge: - Use solar charging whenever possible. - Monitor battery level daily. - Avoid opening the fridge unnecessarily.

- Pre-cool food and drinks before placing them in the fridge.
- Keep the fridge well ventilated.
- Do not overload the fridge beyond its capacity.
- Secure items inside the fridge during travel.
Important Notes
- Ensure the fridge is switched OFF during long-term storage.
- Do not use the fridge if the battery level is critically low.
- If the fridge does not operate, check the main 12V power switch and battery charge.
