Kitchen Sink – Hot & Cold Water
This section explains how to operate the kitchen sink in the BreathTrailer, including both cold and hot water supply.
The kitchen sink is supplied by the trailer’s water system and requires the water pump to be operating.
Water Supply Overview
Water to the kitchen sink is supplied from the fresh water tank or mains water connection, depending on the system setup.
The sink can provide: - Cold water - Hot water (when the hot water system is in use)
Cold Water Operation
To use cold water at the kitchen sink:
- Turn the 12V water pump ON.
- Open the kitchen tap.
Cold water will flow immediately when the tap is opened.
Hot Water Operation
To use hot water at the kitchen sink, the following conditions must be met:
- Turn the 12V water pump ON.
- Ensure the hot water system is connected to LPG gas.
- Turn the hot water system ON.
- Open the kitchen tap.
Hot water will be supplied automatically once the system is operating.
Water Pump Requirement
⚠️ Important:
The water pump must be switched ON for both cold and hot water to operate at the kitchen sink.
If the pump is OFF, no water will flow from the tap.
Usage Tips
- Turn the water pump OFF when the sink is not in use to save battery power.
- Avoid running the water pump dry.
- Monitor fresh water and grey water tank levels regularly.
- Use hot water only when required to conserve gas and water.
Important Notes
- Do not operate the water pump without water in the fresh water tank.
- If water flow becomes inconsistent, check the pump and tank levels.
- Ensure all connections are secure before use.
Correct operation of the kitchen sink system ensures reliable access to hot and cold water during your BreathTrailer trips.
